I really liked that you used both black and white, and full color. I think your most successful wash is the lighthouse at the bottom. I like its composition and light colors. For a lot of these you seem to place the subject in the center of the page. Next time try offsetting it to the sides to add more interest.
You should either embrace the idea of the stereotypical image or turn away from it. If it is representation you want, we need to work on our observation powers - or we can look to the images of ideas. Dig deep into the work of other contemporary artists to help find a path.
Working on how you view objects and even experimenting with different angles would benefit you a lot! Your lighthouse so far is your best Piece. And don’t be afriad to use black! I was afraid at first, but I finally got the hang of it :)
