I really like how you blended all those colors into the shrimp. Shrimp have so many subtle gradations, and I think you really captured that. I also like how you placed the shrimp in the composition. I don't know if you've worked on this since this picture was taken, but I hope you get to the top part soon. I think it'll be easier to see it coming together.
You can work faster and be effective - I've seen it. You still might think about more color on the shrimp form, especially since there is so much umber in the composition as a whole.
This has turned out really great so far! I love how the shrimp seems almost abstract and there aren't any solid outlines around its body. The highlights on the right side of the exoskeleton are also a nice touch.
